About
Jerry Bell, President and CEO of Bell and Associates Business Consultants, was born and raised in Richmond, California. Mr. Bell is a graduate of Arizona State University with a BS in Computer Information Systems. He also earned a MBA from the University of Tampa - John H. Sykes College of Business. After attending the University of Tampa, Mr. Bell started his professional business career at IBM and worked in the Information Technology industry for more than 20 years. Mr. Bell has remained in the Tampa Bay area since his retirement from football and is still very active in the community. Over the years, he has served on numerous boards, most noticeably the University of South Florida Board of Trustees, Hillsborough Community College Board of Trustees, Board of Trustees of Tampa Preparatory High School and the Corporate Board of the Greater Tampa Boys and Girls Club. He and his wife Ruth proudly established the Ruth and Jerry Bell Endowed Scholarship at the University of South Florida. Over the years, their scholarship has provided tuition assistance to more than 100 students. Mr. Bell also supports initiatives related to civil rights, social action, education and human rights.
